Contains photographs of the following military unit: U.S. Army Hospital Ship "Relief." General description of the collection: The Weston P. Chamberlain photograph collection consists of one album and several loose photos. The loose photos are in two small groups showing peaceful scenes in Puerto Rico and in Cuba, 1898. The album, containing 100 photos, covers the cruise of the U.S. Army Hospital Ship "Relief", circa 1899-1903. In addition to shipboard views, there are scenes taken in the Philippine Islands, the Nagasaki area of Japan, and Honolulu, Hawaii.

Weston P. Chamberlain was a United States (U.S.) Army doctor and officer. He was an assistant surgeon and attained the rank of colonel in 1917. Chamberlain retired at that rank in 1935.
